Professor Phil Davis leads the Music Department at Clark Atlanta University. He shares with us that the incoming class of freshmen has enlarged the Marching Band, Choir, Ensembles, and more. He speaks about meeting with several of the incoming students over the summer. He speaks to the raw talent that many of the young people possess.
I asked Davis about the students and their futures in the music business. He shares that all of their classes include how it relates to the business. He gives a lecture on all of the work available in the music industry and often doesn’t make it through the complete list. Davis also speaks about today’s music students being interested in production as well as sound.
