The Living Legends Foundation is dedicated to preserving the rich legacy of those who shape America’s broadcast and recording industries. The LLF honors those unsung heroes whose efforts might otherwise go unnoticed. David C. Linton, a member of this organization, is also a leader here at WCLK and in our community and joins us to speak about their upcoming fundraising Gala taking place on October 2nd.
Linton explains how the Living Legends Foundation was founded 35 years ago. An industry made up of artists, producers, and executives began celebrating and archiving their work. They honored the folks behind the scenes who made moments and movements possible.
This year’s fundraising awards gala will take place on October 4th in Atlanta. Chaka Khan and Q Parker of 112 are the celebrity hosts for the evening.
