Check out this week's edition of UPFRONT Inside the Entertainment Industry. It features my conversations with Insecure star Issa Rae and showrunner Prentice Penny plus ABFF Founder Jeff Friday, President Nicole Friday and 2021 Jury President Will Packer.
Award-winning actress Issa Rae is back for the final season of Insecure. The hilariously funny 30 minute HBO series debuted last weekend and still has everyone buzzing on social media. I caught up with her and showrunner Prentice Penny during a recent AAFCA Roundtable Discussion where they talked candidly about the show's legacy and much more.
The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) is back for another year November 3-28. This virtual worldwide digital experience is totally FREE and features over 100 films and documentaries. Here to chat about the 25th anniversary is festival founder Jeff Friday along with his wife and ABFF President, Nicole Friday and 2021 Jury President, Will Packer.
