Saturday morning at 8am on WCLK's The Local Take I began reaching out to faith leaders to help talk us through the pandemic.  We started with my former classmate, Apostle Darryl Winston from Greater Works Ministries in Atlanta's Lakewood Community.

The BET+ new original drama from Tyler Perry, “Tyler Perry’s Ruthless,” is available today exclusively across all platforms the service is available. The first three episodes, of the one-hour drama, are available now with new episodes launching every Thursday. 

 

“Tyler Perry’s Ruthless” is the first new original series from Tyler Perry to stream on BET+, a joint venture between BET Networks and Tyler Perry Studios.

 

The Local Take Talks Healthy Churches 2020

I spoke with Dr. Pernessa Seele, founder and CEO of The Balm In Gilead, Inc. a non-profit organization that has provided technical support to faith institutions in the USA and Africa. Dr. Seele is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and she launched Healthy Churches 2020 an initiative of her non-profit to engage with the faith community to promote healthy outcomes. 

The 4th annual Healthy Churches 2020 Conference will take place November 14th - 17th in Hilton Head, SC.
