Alvin Ailey returns to the Fox Theatre January 25-27

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre beginning Thursday, January 25 through 27 as it celebrates its 65th Anniversary Season.

On select performances, Amy Hall Garner’s CENTURY will grace the stage. Set to the music of Ray Charles, Count Basie, and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, CENTURY is a celebration of life, resilience, and joy inspired by Garner’s grandfather on the eve of his 100th birthday.

ME, MYSELF AND YOUis a dreamlike duet by former Ailey dancer Elizabeth Roxas-Dobrish. Set to Damien Sneed and Brandie Sutton’s rendition of In A Sentimental Mood, it conjures the remembrance of love and passion for a woman asking herself if she should let go or forge ahead.

Another delicious treat will be the return of acclaimed choreographer Kyle Abraham’s Are You in Your Feelings?. This work celebrating Black culture, Black music, and the youthful spirit that perseveres in us all wowed last year’s audiences.

The always-inspiring, must-see finale of all programs will be Alvin Ailey’s American masterpiece, Revelations.
