FEBRUARY 22: Jazz at All-Saints featuring Carmen Bradford at 7pm

All Saints' Episcopal Church continues its "Jazz at All Saints" Concert Series on Friday, February 22 at 7pm with Grammy Award-winning vocalist Carmen Bradford.

Carmen Bradford is jazz royalty, a 2024 Grammy Award winner for “Basie Swings the Blues – the Count Basie Orchestra.” She’s been nominated five times for Grammy Award and is the recipient of the Los Angeles Jazz Society's Jazz Vocalist Award. With her body of work, which reflects her vast experience, versatility, and technical brilliance, she has carved out her place in jazz history, and she continues to contribute to the preservation of this uniquely American art form.

Bradford is accompanied by her longtime friend and pianist, Reginald Thomas. He is the coordinator of the internationally recognized Northern Illinois School of Music jazz studies program, the director of the NIU Jazz Orchestra, and a featured artist in his own right.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by an illuminating Q&A conversation and then a reception in Ellis Hall.

Tickets are available online or at the door. All concerts are $25 for general admission and $15 for students.
