Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta’s Jazz Station, proudly announces the Celebrity Signature Serenade, a star-powered fundraising event featuring four of the most celebrated names in jazz and soul: Dave Koz, Maysa Leak, Avery*Sunshine, and Nat Adderley, Jr. Each artist will host a special curated hour of music as part of a friendly on-air competition to help raise critical funds for WCLK’s Closing the Gap campaign.
This special initiative supports WCLK’s effort to replace essential dollars lost following federal funding cuts to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Listeners will want to tune in to hear our celebrity guest hosts share the music that's on their playlist and tell why those songs are near and dear to them all while helping to raise donations during their segments.
“This event celebrates the music our listeners love while helping us safeguard WCLK’s future,” said WCLK’s General Manager, Wendy F. Williams. “We’re grateful to these world-class artists—and to our community—for standing with us as we work to close the gap.”
