United Colors of Cancer invites adult cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers across the United States to participate in the 1,000 Voices for Cancer Equity™ Campaign.

This national listening initiative is documenting the real experiences of people affected by cancer. The anonymous survey takes approximately 10–12 minutes and centers BIPOC and underserved communities while welcoming participants of every race and background.

Responses will help identify barriers involving access to care, emotional support, financial burden, treatment experiences, and whether patients and caregivers feel heard. The findings will inform more equitable, culturally responsive cancer programs, research, and advocacy.

United Colors of Cancer is working toward collecting 1,000 voices by September 24, 2026—World Cancer Research Day. The survey will remain open through December 31, 2026.

Adult (21+), Social, Coed Kickball Leagues Looking for a way to stay active without forcing yourself into another gym routine you’ll quit in a couple of months? Joining a social, coed, kickball team is an easy, fun way to move your body, get outside, and stay consistent without it feeling like a workout. You’ll run, kick, laugh, and burn energy while spending time with people who make showing up the best part. It’s fitness disguised as fun. No guilt. No pressure. Just movement that fits real life. Leagues begin the week of September 8 - September 14. Teams play 1 scheduled game per week at/on their chosen park/day. We offer social rec kickball, intermediate kickball, & competitive kickball. We're so excited to be a part of Stories for Seedlings at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Thursday, September 25, with performances at 10am and 10:45am!

This one is extra special: it's the public debut of our bilingual Storytime series. Teaching Artists Ashley Nuñez and Jessica Wax will debut our Bilingual and Nature Based Storytime sessions — both woven with the music, singing, and dramatic play that make Opera Storytime such a joy for early learners.

Come surrounded by gardens, grow some early literacy skills, and celebrate a new chapter for our Storytime program. Free and open to the public. Bring the little ones and come sprout some love for opera!

Central United Methodist Church 160th Anniversary Worship Experience. Our Guest Speaker is Dr. Daniel Black, CAU Professor of African American Studies, author of 9 novels, and Cultural Truth Teller.
