Mount Welcome Community Development Corporation (501c3)in conjunction with Mount Welcome Missionary Baptist Church is featuring a jazz concert (Jazz At The Mount concert),on Saturday, October 7, 2023. It is a fundraising event towards building a Community Life Center in the East Lake Terrace community which has been our home for over 50 of our 123 years. In the last four years we have engaged the community by providing a safe and enjoyable fellowship.
The Mount Welcome Community Life Center I will provide enriching activities for all ages in a safe and nurturing environment. It is our desire to create a youth space that instills sound life skills and principles as well as create a gathering spot for older adults that speaks to both their social and physical needs .
