Friendship Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA will give away 150 Frozen Turkeys and food for Thanksgiving

Friendship Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA, will distribute 150 food boxes on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

The boxes will include a turkey, two boxes of mac & cheese, two boxes of stove-top stuffing, yams, corn, green beans, canned cranberry sauce, jiffy cornbread, two cans of carnation milk, and a box of cake mix. Residents will receive around $50 worth of food on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Food prices have increased monthly this year and are now 13 percent higher than last fall. As a result, hardworking families struggle to keep food on the table. Friendship Baptist Church is working to lessen the impact of these rising prices.

The Food Give Away will begin on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from
12 noon-2 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30314.
