Théâtre du Rêve (TdR), Atlanta's only French-speaking theatre company, will present a retelling of fables by Jean de La Fontaine, in French & English subtitles, for all ages. Vive La Fontaine! will have six performances running from March 24 to April 2, 2023 at 7 Stages Back Stage Theater.

A band of traveling players invite you to rediscover the magic of fables. Equal parts whimsy and depth, Vive La Fontaine! is a theatrical feast for all ages: an invitation to celebrate France’s master fabulist, Jean de La Fontaine.

Vive La Fontaine! is directed by Carolyn Cook, founder and artistic director of Théâtre du Rêve. The cast includes Atlanta-based actors Kevin Qian, Chris Kayser, Eliana Marianes and Dionna D. Davis. The ensemble will be playing multiple roles in a variety of theatrical styles with music, circus arts, dance, and puppetry in nearly twenty different acts they'll perform over the course of one hour.

Seating is general admission. Full price tickets generously support our work. Mid-range and half price tickets are available for those on a budget.
