Threads of Justice

Threads of Justice

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’ve partnered with the Asian American Advocacy Fund (AAAF) to feature a pop-up exhibit titled Threads of Justice. Inspired by the 1985 Garment Workers’ strike in Chinatown, Threads of Justice honors Asian American stories with the hope of creating a better future for AAPI communities.

Threads of Justice features the works of 12 artists: Leah Abucayan, Helen Choi, Sayma Hossain, Tanjina Islam, Herok Kim, Wihro Kim, Killamari, Gabby Lee, Neha Patel, Sanithna Pansavanh, Ghazal Qadri, and Jonny Warren. Most of the artists are based in Georgia.

Threads of Justice will be featured at The Center from May 11 – May 31, 2024.
