· 24-pack Crayola crayons
· Highlighters
· Lysol cleaning wipes
· 12-pack Crayola colored pencils

Come out August 29th to the Taste of Mableton at the Mable House Barnes Complex
On August 29th the Taste of Mableton will be held at the Mable House Complex on Floyd Road in the heart of Mableton. It’s a full day fun and activities for the entire family.
The day starts at 9:00 am with a grand parade that will march from Floyd Middle School 4803 Floyd Rd, SW and down Floyd Road to the Mable House Barnes Complex to kick-off the festival with a high energy fired up battle of the bands. The three local high school marching bands, Pebblebrook High School Mighty Marching Machine, South Cobb High School Marching Band, The Osborne Red Sea of Sound will provide high spirited music throughout. This year, TEOTL the Mexican folklórico foundation featuring dancers and their equestrian charreria will also appear.
A food court showcasing foods from Mableton’s local restaurants and local cultures. Local entertainment headlines the all-day concert, and an array of local craftsmen representing the small and large businesses will fill the market place. Best of all many community-based service organizations and elected officials will be on hand for community engagement and much more.
And for the younger generations a Kids Zone will be erected that’s more than bounce houses. It will include an arcade and many vendors offering extracurricular activities for educational enhancement and afterschool
The festival is produced by the Mableton Improvement Coalition a 20-year old advocacy group based in Mableton.

We are having a fun filled day of interactive workshops for burgeoning queens that need mentorship and life-skills, prevention education, etiquette &attire, puberty hygiene, and self worth/mental health strengthening. This is a day they will never forget.
