Attorney Don Edwards has supported Jazz 91.9 WCLK since its beginning. Attorney Edwards is a regular participant in Jazz 91.9 Signature Serenade segments. Signature Serenade is a special segment during Jazz at Sundown in support of Jazz 91.9 WCLK Fall and Spring Membership Campaigns.
This Fall, Attorney Edwards took the WCLK Silver Cup Award of Excellence. The award recognizes individuals who raise the most funds for WCLK during their special Signature Serenade air-shift. Don dropped by Morning Jazz to accept his award and, talk with Morris Baxter about why Jazz 91.9 WCLK is important to him and why it should be for everyone.

During Jazz 91.9 WCLK Fall and Spring membership campaigns, we invite eight listeners from the community to serve as special on-air guest announcers during Jazz at Sundown, co-hosting with Debb Moore. Each guest has the opportunity to customize a list of their favorite Jazz music to play while fundraising for WCLK. Guests share stories about the music they’ve selected; the artists and about themselves; and, why it’s important to support WCLK.
The name of the top fundraiserengraved on the coveted Jazz 91.9 WCLK Signature Serenade Award of Excellence, a beautiful silver bowl. The winner keeps the bowl until a new top fundraiser is crowned. All guest hosts are asked to raise a minimum of $2,000. We designate the first two hours of Jazz at Sundown from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. to this unique fundraising opportunity. Since its inception, Signature Serenade guest hosts have combined to raise over $50, 000 during membership campaigns.
