In less than a month, WCLK celebrates 45 years of being Atlanta’s premiere jazz source and community resource. While other stations have come and gone, WCLK has never deviated from its mission of quality music programming. Earlier this year, we concluded our campaign with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Thanks to many of you turning your listenership into membership, you provided over 40,000 meals to families in need!
This fall, WCLK began a partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America. For twenty-nine years, the Jazz Foundation of American (JFA) has been assisting Jazz musicians in crisis, due to illness, age or circumstances by providing housing assistance, pro bono medical relief, dignified employment/gigging opportunities, emergency financial support, and disaster relief.
