Thanks to everyone in 2018 who volunteered their time, made a financial contribution, and told someone new about Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. From our major donors and Jazz Appreciation Society members to everyone who called in during our membership campaigns and donated a smaller amount, everyone plays a part in keeping Jazz alive and available for the public on WCLK.
2019 begins our 45th year on the air, and you can look forward to a number of exciting events including our Spring Benefit Concert with Patti Labelle on April 7.
This year we will continue to partner with the Jazz Foundation of America to direct a portion of your support for musicians in need of support in Atlanta and around the country. We will continue to provide a Mainstream Jazz audio stream and a Student R&B/Hip-Hop stream for musical alternatives. We will continue to train the next generation of broadcasters in conjunction with the Mass Media Arts Department of our licensee, Clark Atlanta University.
Your support helps us do all that. Thanks for all of your help in 2018, and we look forward to continuing to work together for Jazz in a great new year.
