CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice is an occasional public affairs program airing at 8:30am Saturday mornings on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK that tells the good news about what's going on at Clark Atlanta University. This morning's program includes a conversation with CAU Department of Public Safety Chief of Police Debra A. Williams. Chief Williams has nearly 35 years in law enforcement, primarily with the Atlanta Police Department where she retired with the rank of Major. As CAU's police chief her job includes watching over CAU students, staff and faculty. She talks about the need to be transparent about incidents on campus by notifying everyone when something notable happens, as well as her own policy of regularly walking throughout campus to make sure she is in touch with events on the ground.
We're also joined by Andra Brantley, Senior Assistant Director for Clark Atlanta University Transfer Student Services. We talk about what kind of students transfer from different institutions to CAU, and how CAU makes the process as straight-forward as possible, from the three step admissions process to an open door walk-in and appointment policy. He also touches on transfer partnerships between CAU and other institutions. Find out more about how to transfer to Clark Atlanta University by clicking here.
