September 17: Black Voters Matter Co-Founder LaTosha Brown Joins Rivablue

Harvard IOP

Join me Wednesday, September 17 at 1pm on Midday Jazz as I talk with Black Voters Matter @BlackVotersMtr Co-Founder and Good Troublemaker LaTosha Brown.  We'll be talking about upcoming elections on Jazz 91.9 WCLK as part of the Black Radio United For The Vote initiative in conjunction with The Urban League

of
Greater Atlanta. Our goal is two fold--make sure everyone registers and votes, and make sure everyone is counted in the 2020 Census.

The co-founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund and the BVM Capacity Building Institute, LaTosha Brown is adamant about ensuring that all human beings have access to quality education, safety, security, peace, love and happiness.

At the intersection of social justice, political empowerment, human development and the cultural arts one will find LaTosha Brown. As a catalyst for change, thought leader and social strategist, her national and global efforts have been known to organize, inspire and catapult people into action—not just lip service—enabling them to build power and wealth for themselves and their community. Honored to receive the 2010 White House Champion of Change Award, the 2006 Spirit of Democracy Award and the Louis Burnham Award for Human Rights, it is more than evident that LaTosha is passionate about leading social change for the purpose of advancing humanity, creating a more equitable redistribution of wealth and power around the globe.
