In his new album on Okeh, Holding The Stage: Road Shows, Vol. 4, the legendary Tenor Saxophonist, Sonny Rollins reaches into his vast archives of concert recordings for eight astounding live cuts recorded between 1979 and 2012. The album reflects songs and styles touching on various aspects of his career. According to Rollins, "it's who I am, and the music represents just about every aspect of what I do." You can look forward to hearing cuts from Holding The Stage: Road Shows, Vol. 4 at various times on Jazz 91.9 WCLK and WCLK HD2 in particular during Serenade To The City, Monday through Friday from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
