July 29: Frank Zappa Jazz On WCLK, Eat That Question ATL Premiere

Sony Pictures Classics

Frank Zappa’s contribution to the world of Jazz is immense. It was through Frank Zappa that the world discovered Pianist George Duke, Violinist Jean Luc Ponty and Saxophonist Ian Underwood among others. In conjunction with Sony Pictures Classics movie release of Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words, we'll take a longer look at his lasting legacy during  Serenade To The City on Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Saturday, July 30 at 1:00 a.m.   The showcase will also include commentary from Zappa's many collaborators about his cultural impact. We'll also feature Zappa’s music from the 1972 release The Grand Wazoo and the 1975 release One Size Fits All.

Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words, premieres Friday, July 29 at Atlanta's Midtown Art Cinema.   More information on the film can be found here. Want to purchase tickets to the show? Click here.
