Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK turns 45 on Wednesday, April 10, and you're invited to celebrate with cake and a concert from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for Jazz at the Gazebo in front of the Atlanta University Center Robert Woodruff Library, 111 James P. Brawley Drive SW. Confirmed artists include Trey Daniels, Dara Carter, BK Jackson, Kim Cage Riley and Taryn Newborne. On April 10, 1974 WCLK went on the air, licensed to Clark College as a non-commercial student radio station. Much has changed, but we were playing Jazz then, and we're still playing it now.
