New Music: Mariea Antoinette/Loving You

Harpist Mariea Antoinette, with an assist from Contemporary Jazz Funk Group Fattburger, returns with a beautiful rendition of the late Minnie Riperton classic Loving You(Maasai Records). The original song was released in 1974, but this single just dropped last month. Few vocalists have attempted to sing this song, unable to reach Minnie’s five octave range. Mariea avoids the vocal challenges by playing it on her harp, the result is a beautiful song that that you can hear at various times of the day on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK, including during Serenade To The City.
