Ragan Whiteside is a Soul Jazz flautist, vocalist and songwriter orginally from New York. She is also an Atlanta resident and friend of WCLK. Whiteside is the first female flautist to simultaneously hold the #1 spot on three major smooth jazz charts.
Her latest release, a beautiful rendition of Little River Band's 1978 pop hit Reminiscing (Randis Music) is featured on Billboard's Top 15 Smooth Jazz Charts. Ragan's version of the song dropped late last year. You can hear it at various times on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK, including during Seranade to the City with David C. Linton, Monday- Fridays 10pm-Midnight.
