Check out this weekend's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry. It features my conversations with Jamil Jude, Keyondra Lockett and Diallo and Randall Thompson of ART8 Productions.

Artist Director for Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company---Jamil Jude---stopped by UPFRONT this week to chat about their new production of Dominique Morriseau's Paradise Blue. The show focuses on Blue, a Detroit jazz trumpter who is torn between keeping or selling his inherited jazz club, Paradise Blue. A mysterious New Orleans woman named Silver enters the scene and turns Blue's world upside down. In addition to the show, Jamil also talks about True Colors 2019/2020 theme of SHE GRIOTS and some upcoming community talkbacks and conversations. Check out the full conversation below:

Gospel music sensation Keyondra Lockett stopped by UPFRONT to chat about her new album, The Heal Reloaded. She also opens up about her unique partnership with the Kenya Doll, her new clothing line and much more.

Closing out the show is Diallo and Randall Thompson of ART8 Productions. The father and son are here to chat about their upcoming networking event for aspiring talent in TV, film and music titled The Insiders Table. It takes place on Saturday October 12 at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center from 12:30-5pm. There will also be a screening of Diallo's new indie film The Life of Mine.
