Check out the latest edition of UPFRONT Inside the Entertainment Industry. It features Tony-nominated Broadway actress and singer Saycon Sengbloh, gospel music sensation Rudy Currence and filmmaker and pop culture expert Phill Branch. 

Saycon Sengbloh is back to talk about starring in the new OWN series Delilah. The  one-hour drama comes from the creators of the hugely popular series Greenleaf and also stars Maahra Hill and Jill Marie Jones.  She also pays tribute to Motown icons Martha Reeves and Edna Anderson and gives us the 4-1-1 about starring in the upcoming reboot of The Wonder Years.

Gospel music singer/songwriter Rudy Currence is here to talk about his Billboard charting single, "I Belong Here" as well as his Black Lives Matter anthem "#Hope" (Hashtag Hope). He also salutes his mother and the many other legends he worked with throughout his career including Quincy Jones. 

Closing out the show is exclusive with Goucher College professor Phill Branch as he talks about his new course: Race, Gender and Wardrobe Malfunctions: On Janet Jackson and Media. The class takes a deep dive into Ms. Jackson's multifacted career as a pop music icon and puts a spotlight on her now infamous Super Bowl Halftime performance.
