Young African Leaders Initiative On The Local Take With Kiplyn Primus

Kiplyn Primus was joined Saturday morning July 12 for The Local Take, as she welcomed participants in the 2014 Young African Leaders Initiative.  The  Obama administration’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Nearly 1 in 3 Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60 percent of Africa’s total population is below the age of 35. President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa.

Clark Atlanta University is hosting a number of these African leaders this Summer as part of the Business and Entrepreneurial  piece of this initiatives.  Their host is CAU Economics Professor Dr. Mesfin Bezuneh.  Hear what these African leaders have to say about the future of this great continent.
