Hailing from the quaint West African nation, Benin, 4X Grammy Award winner, Angelique Kidjo, has been a torchbearer for the Afro-pop movement for over 40 years. Her modern perspective of African music is adored the world over and she continues to inspire a new generation of Africa's greatest stars. She recently performed in Atlanta at the Rialto Center For The Arts and gave an electrifying show. I had the honor and pleasure of speaking with her about her illustrious career, her latest album on Mother Nature(Verve), being one of Africa's premiere music ambassadors and so much more.
