London based Jazz band Kokoroko are the living definition of Fusion Jazz. The very young crew has been leading the charge for the British Jazz invasion for a few years now and their soulful, afro-inspired brand of Nu-Jazz has been lighting up stages all over the world. Led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey and an all female horn section, they return with a new single Something's Going On (Brownswood Recordings) that stays true to their new school afro-fusion. You can hear this and so much more on the Saturday Edition of The S.O.U.L Of Jazz, 6pm-9pm on Jazz 91.9 FM WCLK in Atlanta, WCLK.com and via the WCLK app.
