We’re talking exclusively to Martinique Lewis from NAT GEO’s new documentary Black Travel Across America. In the film, Martinique embarks on a journey to visit historically listed Green Book locations, gaining valuable stories and knowledge of these locations from local experts. She also stops at Black owned businesses that are fueling the modern black travel industry.
And in the second part of the show, we’ll revisit my conversation with actor, director, and CAU theatre professor Eric J. Little about this year’s Oscar nominations. He and I talked earlier this year about the nominees, the snubs and our forecast of who will be taking home the coveted award. Hollywood’s biggest night will air live this Sunday, March 12 at 8pm on ABC and is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
We also feature new music from Alfa Mist, Masego and a throwback from Natalie Cole all throughout the show.
