Shanachie Entertainment

Brian Simpson & Steve Oliver release a new single from their album Unified(Shanachie Entertainment).  The Road Never Ends is a mid- tempo soothing song featuring Brian’s noticeable keyboard/piano strokes complimented nicely by Steve’s well known guitarist licks. Rounding out the ensemble is Alex Al on bass, Eric Valentine on drums and Roman Yslas on percussion.  This is the kind of song that will compliment any activity, like your afternoon ride with Jamal Ahmad, host of the SOUL of Jazz daily from 2p-7p on Jazz 91.9 WCLK.

Jazz In Pink is the world-renowned, all-female, all star band based in Los Angeles. They have emerged as one of the world's most prominent and popular all-female ensembles. Comprised of core members Gail Johnson (Piano), Althea Rene(Flute), Maria Antoinette (Harp) and Karen Briggs (Violin), they have performed around the world. Various members have played a part in the ensemble from time to time. Keystroke (Shanachie Entertainment) represents a return to the recording studio for Jazz In Pink and this programmer feels it’s a triumphant return.
