Check out this week's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry. The show featured the hosts of GPB's new talk program, "A Seat at the Table," Christine White, Denene Millner and Monica Pearson. The ladies chatted about the success of the series and why it is unlike any other show on television.
#UPFRONT also wrapped up our final coverage of the 2017 ESSENCE Festival that took place in New Orleans June 29 though July 2. I got a chance to chat with the cast of OWN's popular series "The Haves and the Have Nots" along with John Singleton and the cast of his new FX series, "Snowfall"---Damson Idris, Isaiah John and Malcolm M. Mays.
We closed out the show by talking to the director of the True Colors Theatre Production of "Between Riverside and Crazy," Eric J. Little and one of the show's stars Keith Arthur Bolden. It is currently playing at the Southwest Arts Center and features veteran actor Earl Billings in the title role as Pops.
