Dementia in the Community: Health, Faith, and Inviting Spaces

Dementia in the Community: Health, Faith, and Inviting Spaces

All faiths are invited to gather at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 1:30 PM for a meaningful afternoon focused on dementia and community care.

This special event will bring together:
Medical experts from Emory University's Goizueta Brain Health Institute
Faith leaders sharing the powerful role of spirituality for caregivers and patients
Design specialists offering insights on creating safe, supportive, functional, and welcoming environments

Together, we’ll explore how health, faith, and thoughtfully designed spaces can improve the lives of those living with dementia, especially among religious communities.

Whether you're a caregiver, healthcare professional, faith leader, congregant or community advocate — you belong in this conversation.

Join us as we work toward a more inclusive, compassionate community.

We look forward to seeing you there!
