This event centers mental health awareness through poetry, storytelling, and honest dialogue. It will feature Moody Black, a nationally acclaimed poet and TEDx presenter whose work powerfully addresses mental health through spoken word and lived experience. Joining him are respected local thought leaders Dr. John Lipman, Franz Lynch, Don Jones, and Corky Reams, co-authors of The Evolution of Leadership. Audience will engage in meaningful community discussion alongside poetry performances.
Black Men Speak Life creates a safe and affirming space for reflection, healing, and connection. We believe this event will be impactful for our men particularly those interested in wellness, leadership, social justice, and the arts.
