CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice airs the last Saturday morning of each month at 8:30am on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. October's program featured a conversation about educators and education with Clark Atlanta University School of Education Dean Dr. J. Fidel Turner, Jr. Turner talks about current initiatives in his school including more than 4.5 million dollars in grant funding to enhance the Department of Counseling Education and continue CAU's 50 year legacy with the Upward Bound program, which helps prepare high school students for the college experience.
Dr. Turner also talks about American Education Week, which is coming up November 12-16 and events happening at CAU and off campus at various public schools, where Clark Atlanta University educators will be present.
