Saturday morning on WCLK's The Local Take I spoke with Atlanta Business League Board Chair-Elect Al Edwards about their upcoming 86th Annual Meeting taking place on Tuesday, November 12 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
I ask Mr. Edwards to share with us why this 86th Annual Meeting is so special. He speaks about the Hall of Fame Inductee Egbert Perry who started his career with H. J. Russell and went on to start the Integral Group, a development company that has created several communities in Atlanta and throughout the United States. Edwards refers to this entrepreneur as a visionary leader.
Additionally he shares that the keynote speaker will by Ryan Millsap of Blackhall Studios. Millsap will speak on Atlanta's growing film and entertainment industry.
Edwards mentions that his association with the Atlanta Business League began when he was a graduate student. He remembers meeting Harold Dawson and H. J. Russell at an ABL event. He has now been a successfull entrepreneur with over 20 years in business. The founder and Managing Director of Corporate Environmental Risk Management (CERM), has offices in Alabama and Florida.
