New Music: Norman Brown-The Highest Act Of Love

Atlanta Resident Norman Brown has been playing guitar since he was an eight year old in Shreveport, Louisiana. He has taken his early influences of Jimi Hendrix, The Isley Brothers and Wes Montgomery and fashioned a musical career that has generated number one chart hits, collaborations with Kirk Whalum and Rick Braun(BWB), and even bed music for the local forecasts on The Weather Channel. His latest release on Shanachie Entertainmment is called The Highest Act of Love, and drops this week. You can hear The King Is Here off of that new release on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK, like you have heard most all of Norman's music over the years. He's a friend of Clark Atlanta University and a friend of WCLK. You can catch him live at Morris Baxter's Birthday Bash on Friday night, February 22 at Revel. More information about that can be found here.
