The Local Take on 91.9 WCLK would like to join others in the Atlanta area in recognizing the work of Dr. William Boone. We regularly feature Dr. Boone as a guest expert on community, Georgia and, national political and policy topics.The Georgia House of Representatives recognized CAU Political Science Professor and Atlanta University Alumnus, William H. Boone, Ph.D., for his long record of activism, community advocacy, outreach and contributions to the academy.
In House Resolution 822, Boone was lauded for his "outstanding accomplishments" and "dedication to serving the citizens of Georgia."
The move to secure the commendation was sparked by students in the Clark Atlanta University Department of Political Science, among them are Bobby Rice-Bey, Stephanie Styles and Arabia Sweet. Thanks to the area Georgia General Assembly members who sponsored this resolution.
