This week on The Local Take, we’re letting everyone know that the 15th Annual Congress on the state of Black Business in Metro Atlanta is taking place on Tuesday, March 29th. This will be a hybrid event. We’re speaking with Al Edwards, the Board Chair of the Atlanta Business League, about this year’s event. Al Edwards, welcome back to The Local Take.
I ask Edwards to tell us about the Atlanta Business League’s Congress on the State of Black Business. He explains that it is a gathering to measure where we are in business. This year’s event is even more meaningful as there is an in-person component.
Edwards shares that entrepreneurs are a diverse group, from solopreneurs to complete enterprises. Everyone can benefit from learning how to grow/scale their business. The event will include discussions on local and national policies for business owners.
I ask Edwards about the rich history of the Atlanta Business League and their history of supporting and growing businesses in our community. He speaks about the Negro Business League and its 88-year history.
