Last Christmas I had a fascinating conversation with Nadine McKinnor. You may not have heard of McKinnor, but you have probably heard Donny Hathaway's This Christmas, a holiday soul classic that has been covered by many including The Temptations, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Usher, Spyro Gyra, Cee Lo Green and many others. Hathaway co-wrote the song with Nadine McKinnor when he was recording as Donnie Pitts.
