New Orleans-born Saxophonist Vandell Andrew is part of a new generation of Jazz artists with his own take on the Contemporary Jazz genre. He's been making records and appearing at the top of Contemporary Jazz Charts since 2014's Turn It Up. His current release Chill AF can be heard currently on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. It comes from Andrew's 2018 self-released album 30. Andrew is an up and coming player, and has shared the stage with Kirk Whalum, Paul Brown, Peter White, Rick Braun, Bobby Lyle and Marion Meadows, among others.
