Dan doesn't have any hobbies as such, but devours one to three books a week, assiduously works The New York Times Crossword puzzle Thursdays through Sundays and, for physical exercise, tries to get in a couple of rounds of racquetball per week.

He has practiced as a primary care doctor in Atlanta for more than 20 years at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. And he is an affiliate of MDVIP, a national network of primary care physicians who see fewer patients so they can focus on delivering personalized medicine and preventive care. Dr. Douglass is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American college of physicians. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina’s School of Medicine and performed his residency at Emory University.
