Award-Winning Producer and Keyboardist Bob Baldwin is back with a new project so appropriately titled for these times--Back To Basics(Family First). This song is not full of studio tricks, it’s simply a nice smooth grooving song designed to relax your mind. In this current Covid-19 pandemic, it reminds us of what’s really important and that’s “Family First”. Between producing other artists and his popular syndicated radio show NewUrbanJazz Lounge heard on Jazz 91.9 WCLK on Saturday afternoons at 4p, I don’t know where he finds the time. Back To Basics (Family First) is the lead track from a full length project due from CSI and City Sketches Records in 2021, but knowing Bob he’ll push the envelope and it may be a holiday stocking stuffer.

He reshuffled the Sunday Jazz offerings to provide a unique Mainstream Jazz listening experience on Sundays including the addition of Mainstream and Modern hosted by Rob Maynard. He also added Broadcast Hall of Famer Rick Joyner to the weekday line up as host of Serenade to the The City. He also programs WCLK's HD2 channel which offers Mainstream Jazz 24/7, available at wclk.com
