Join us 4th Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. for CAU Now - Lifting Every Voice.  This interview-formatted program highlights academic excellence and issues in higher education from Clark Atlanta University faculty,  students and alumni thought leaders. Topics are curated by CAU Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Peter Nwosu. WCLK is a proud licensee of Clark Atlanta University.

For the December edition of CAU Now Lifting Every Voice on WCLK, We spoke with Dr. Bruce Berger. Berger is the Executive director of Clark Atlanta University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development. As such he is working on both producing successful entrepreneurs from on the CAU Campus and the surrounding community, but also creating innovative ways to make the University run more efficiently and effectively.

The November edition of CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice on WCLK featured Dr. Jenny L. Jones, Dean of the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. We discussed the undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels of the program, current collaborations and student engagement initiatives, and the school's upcoming 2020 Centennial. We also talked about Whitney M. Young, Jr., who was a nationally known civil rights activist and academic who was the first Dean of the school that now bears his name at CAU.

Clark Atlanta University Art Museum

CAU Now Lifting Every Voice on WCLK features the Clark Atlanta University Art Museum. This collection is a hidden gem of Atlanta's arts and culture scene, and is located in Trevor Arnett Hall on CAU's campus. We spoke with Museum Director Dr. Maurita Poole. In addition to discussing current exhibits at the museum she discusses it's history, which dates to 1942 and the creation of the Atlanta University Exhibition of Paintings, Prints and Sculpture by Negro Artists of America.

CAU Now Lifting Every Voice features a special edition with Marshall Taggart, President of the Clark Atlanta University National Alumni Association, to talk about the full range of events for CAU Homecoming 2017. Events begin on Sunday, October 15 with a chapel service on Campus. Welcome home to Clark Atlanta University!

CAU Now Lifting Every Voice on WCLK tells the good news about events and initiatives happening at Clark Atlanta University, one of America's greatest HBCUs. We were joined recently by Dr. Obie Clayton, CAU Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creativity, and Director of the CAU QEP. Dr. Clayton discusses the University’s Quality Enhancement Plan, or QEP, and CAU’s  focus as part of this on Mentored Undergraduate Scholarly Endeavors, or MUSE.
